Job Description
As the Inclusive Recruitment & Apprenticeships Lead, you will manage a nationwide team, setting the strategic agenda and driving its implementation with autonomy and vision.
You'll work closely with the business to design impactful, tailored approaches that make a real difference, establishing partnerships with organisations such as Job Centres and community groups.
With high volumes of inclusive hiring, strong apprenticeship uptake, and initiatives supporting T Level students, this role is about transforming lives while differentiating the business through meaningful social value.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 5 focused on supporting disadvantaged individuals into employment
- Oversee delivery of employability services with a target of 4,000 people supported over 7 years
- Build and maintain relationships with job centres, colleges, and charities to drive engagement
- Lead team in promoting and facilitating apprenticeships across partner networks
- Support recruitment activity, including delivery of employability sessions at local venues
- Monitor team performance and outcomes against contract targets
- Represent the programme with stakeholders to drive awareness and participation
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Experience working with disadvantaged groups and government-led programmes
- Proven ability to manage dispersed teams effectively
- Skilled in assessing situations and developing action plans to meet objectives
- Strong communication, relationship management, and influencing skills
- High resilience and ability to manage ambiguity and ensure accountability
- Strong written and verbal communication with high computer literacy
- Knowledge of apprenticeships, T-Levels, and related government initiatives
