Role Overview
We are looking for experienced and passionate Training Facilitators to deliver our CPD-accredited training on culturally appropriate care. As a facilitator, you will lead dynamic, engaging sessions that equip care staff with essential cultural competence to deliver inclusive, sensitive, and respectful care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver In-Person Training: Lead CareAlgo’s 2-hour interactive sessions on culturally appropriate care for care staff.
- Engage and Inspire: Use real-world case studies, discussions, and activities to foster understanding of cultural competence and inclusive care practices.
- Ensure Quality Content Delivery: Cover essential topics, including the Equality Act 2010, Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards, and key cultural care principles.
- Support Learning: Encourage reflective practice and ensure participants are actively engaged in learning.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete feedback forms, attendance records, and ensure participants receive certificates upon completion.
- Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback and contribute to the evolution of our training materials.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in delivering training, ideally in adult social care or healthcare settings.
- Strong understanding of cultural competence, inclusive care practices, and relevant legislation (e.g., Equality Act 2010, CQC standards).
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Flexibility to travel to various care provider locations for in-person training sessions.
Additional Details
- Freelance Role: As an independent contractor, you have the freedom to choose your assignments based on availability.
- Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA): All facilitators must sign an NDA to protect proprietary information.
- Compensation: £150 per completed session.
- Training & Support: Comprehensive training materials and full session delivery support will be provided. You’ll receive detailed notes and a briefing to help you confidently lead the sessions. Ongoing support is also available to ensure your success.
