We are seeking a Workforce Development Officer to join our friendly and supportive team and undertake a time-limited project (15 months) to complete apprenticeship training matrices for each of the Council’s services. This project will require significant research and engagement and consultation with service managers and teams to identify appropriate apprenticeship qualifications for both new apprentice posts as well as continuous professional development opportunities for the existing workforce.
The post holder can work from any of the Adult Learning Centres in Beverley, Bridlington, Cottingham or Goole.
The work will be demanding with the requirement for research, creativity and innovation to help drive the implementation of existing and new programmes but equally rewarding to be part of a team supporting the development of a sustainable workforce. This particular piece of work will also be instrumental in identifying and measuring the social, economic and environmental outcomes of the Council’s apprenticeship programme, driving an increase in apprenticeship opportunities and utilisation of the Council’s apprenticeship levy.
