The opportunity we have:
We are looking for a motivated and suitably qualified individual to join our dynamic Apprenticeship team to assess our Carpentry & Joinery Apprentices
You will hold demonstrable industry competence in the Carpentry field and have the ability to encourage and inspire young people. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm, passion and a vibrant personality that can motivate Apprentices and provide high quality assessment & support.
Working alongside employers, the post holder will recruit, train & assess Apprentices towards achievement of their End Point Assessment and will provide excellent customer service to our employers to ensure we are the provider of choice for training & skills.
Our ideal candidate will hold an Assessors qualification however, if you are looking to move into education as part of your career plan, or you may have industry related skills and experience which could be transferrable, we would support you to obtain your Assessor qualification within a specified time frame.

As a minimum, candidates will ideally possess the following:
- Demonstrable industry experience within Carpentry & Joinery
- A minimum level 3 industry relevant qualification
- An Assessor qualification or willingness to achieve this within a specified time frame
- Level 2 qualification in Maths & English
