Salary Dependent on Qualifications:
No TAQA: Scale 5 (£27,492 to £30,185 per annum)
TAQA no PGCE: Scale 6 to SO1 (£31,174 - £36,915 per annum)
TAQA and PGCE: SO2 to PO2 (£38,033 - £44,714 per annum)

You will coordinate and manage Bridgend College social enterprise and charitable community interest activities, providing college learners with opportunities to develop their core skills through community, volunteering and work-related social action projects. You will deliver an innovative and fully immersive employment programme for entry level learners with additional learning needs (ALN), based in our new campus-based coffee shop and responsible for the day-to-day operation of this commercial outlet, enabling the learners to access vocational competencies within the workplace based on vocational skills profiling.
You will oversee the day-to-day running and operation of a commercial cafe, and ensure that health, safety and food hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
You will have experience of working with young people with additional learning needs, and experience of delivering practical training and support to learners. You will have a relevant degree (or equivalent) and an ALN/SEN qualification is desirable.
You will also have relevant experience in delivering catering skills and food operation services (coffee shop, food services outlet, restaurant or similar), a Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification and sound working knowledge of the Food Standards Agency ‘Safer food, better business’ requirements (including ratings and inspections).
