Permanent, Term Time Only, 37 weeks per year
Either 5 days, 37 hours per week, with working hours from 8.30 until 5.00 each day OR Part Time Hours are available over 4 days per week.
£17,955.55 - £18,903.29 actual salary for 37 hours per week - this includes holiday and bank holiday pay

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Inclusion Team at Bath College. This role is key in providing excellent support to SEND Learners with EHCPs across the college, primarily on vocational courses and including English and Maths. The post holder will work with a case load of identified Learners with a variety of support needs using tools to promote independence. These will include the use of assistive technology and appropriate strategies for learners on their pathway to adulthood.
The successful candidate will be committed to a learner-centred approach in their work methods, be flexible and confident with excellent interpersonal skills. They will have a strong commitment to equality and diversity and to working with people who have faced a range of challenges and support needs.
The successful candidate will need to show enthusiasm, flexibility and good communication skills. They will also need to possess good organisation and administrative skills. The post holder will need to be able to take initiative and to be committed to supporting learners exceed their expectations.
The successful candidate will possess English and Maths at Level 2 and have a qualification in Supporting Learners (e.g. Level 3 Teaching Assistant) or be willing towards this within the first two years.
