We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join the Directorate of Quality, Teacher Development and Student Development at Suffolk New College. This is a cross college role requiring the successful candidate to have a good understanding of quality assurance processes and different awarding organisations that we work with. This will also include knowledge of the FE sector and the full range of qualifications available.
Working alongside the Head of Quality and colleagues within the Quality team, the post-holder will be pro-actively involved in supporting quality assurance activities across all of the curriculum directorates and all four campuses. You will need a commitment to your own professional development as this is a continually evolving role with new developments to qualifications and curriculum as a consistent feature of the post.
You should have a good standard of education including maths and English at level 2 or above, IQA and Assessor qualifications or a commitment to achieving these within a specified period of time and experience of undertaking quality assurance activities.
The main base for this post is the Ipswich Campus, however Suffolk New College is a multi-site campus, therefore you will be required to work at and travel between campuses.
