Purpose of Role
To manage a mixed portfolio of large clients, developing best in class relationships that result in maximisation of revenue opportunities and excellence in customer service, ensuring repeat business year on year.
Stakeholder management will be key to the success of this role, building relationships clients and with the operations team to ensure contracts are implemented and operated in line with required milestones.
Main Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Establish a high level of professionalism and credibility, managing strong working relationships with internal and external clients at all times
- Develop strong, professional working relationships with clients, using influence and knowledge to identify opportunities to improve and develop business further
- Manage implementation of programmes for new clients, ensuring deadlines are met, profiles adhered to and operational teams are fully briefed on client expectations
- Ensure apprenticeship starts are enrolled in accordance with the relevant compliance framework and employer profile
- Undertake weekly/monthly calls with all clients, gathering feedback to ensure quality of delivery and documenting actions, sharing with relevant SR Apprenticeships colleagues
- To complete weekly and monthly reports on key clients, ensuring that information is accurate and any issues that may impact on clients are identified
- Undertake client quarterly business reviews and annual reviews with clients, completing all required documentation in a timely manner
- Be accountable for accurate client profiles, revisiting and renegotiating these with clients as required and ensuring that profiled numbers are achieved in a timely manner
- Support production of data and MI reports in accordance with client requirements and analyse highlight risks to delivery.
- Support business development colleagues to identify new opportunities and identify own opportunities to improve and develop business further
- Maintain own levels of CPD in the Apprenticeship sector, to inform clients of external factors that might influence activities that are being undertaken or planned
- To support and represent SR Apprenticeships when required at outside functions and events as necessary
- Understand SR Apprenticeships and client culture and values and work in line with these always
- Any other duties reasonably requested by the line manager
Person Specification
Essential Knowledge and Experience:
Partnership/Account Management
Understanding of Government funded training, including Apprenticeship and the Apprenticeship levy
Understanding of apprenticeship programmes & delivery of training
Competencies:
Ability to influence others to achieve challenging results
Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude at all times
Ability to provide timely, accurate management information
Ability to work in a responsive and pressured environment
Strong analytical and IT skills
Excellent presentation skills
Excellent negotiation & influencing skills
