Hours: part-time variable hours
Hourly rate: £24.51 per hour (unqualified) or £25.61 per hour (qualified) inclusive of holiday pay.
Plus, membership of Teachers’ Pension Scheme.
- the base hourly rate is £15.81 (unqualified) / £16.52 (qualified) per hour, plus payment for holiday and preparation and marking time, which gives an approximate hourly rate of £24.51 (unqualified) / £25.61 (qualified) per hour.
About the role
Due to the individual career progression of staff within the Team of Sports and Fitness we now have an exciting opportunity to recruit new members of staff. We require enthusiastic, industry experienced tutors who can contribute towards outstanding teaching and learning teaching L2 Gym Instruction and Personal Training.
Duties will include working with our established team to plan, deliver, and assess across fitness programmes to support students to succeed and progress towards their next steps. This role is currently on an hourly paid basis but could lead to more permanent hours in the future.
About the Person
We are looking for an inspiring individual with current / recent industrial experience who can share their knowledge, expertise, and enthusiasm with our students.
This role would suit an individual that is self-employed or in part time employment, with the flexibility to manage their time around teaching commitments. Hours are predominantly on a Friday with other classes scattered throughout the week.
