Salary Unqualified: £27,750 - £29,400 per annum (to be calculated pro rata)
Qualified: £30,274 - £35,033 per annum (to be calculated pro rata)
The salary includes a recent 7% pay award

Location Stamford College
This role requires a dynamic, nurturing and student focused individual to work within an exceptional team to support young people to reach their potential. Within this role you will be developing young peoples’ English skills to prepare them for adult life. This includes delivering and assessing Functional Skills English from Entry 1 to Level 1.
The successful candidate should have experience of delivering lessons at a standard of 'Good' or above, possess excellent communication skills to support young people with diverse needs and mixed ability to provide an outstanding service to our learners.
You must have excellent awareness and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
Finally, you will have the proven ability to work successfully and influentially as part of a team and experience of organising, managing and delivering learning opportunities in English to really change lives for the better.
Knowledge and experience of working with young people with SEND and SEMH is a minimum requirement for this post. Minimum of GCSE/Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy at grade C/4 (or equivalent) or above is essential. New teachers are welcome to apply, or someone who is looking to get into teaching. You must either hold a teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or display a willingness to work towards the Level 5 teaching qualification (supported by CPD) upon being appointed.
