About the Role
The role of Maths and Physics Lecturer is ideal if you want a varied role where you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the success of our Maths and Physics students within the Sheffield Sixth Form. Have a passion for teaching and wish to contribute to a college which believes that each student has a capacity to excel, regardless of their background.
Key Responsibilities
- The design and delivery of the A level Maths and Physics curriculum
- Assessing student work and providing timely and constructive feedback
- Liaising with students, parents and stakeholders
- Meeting with diverse needs of our students and providing extracurricular opportunities for learners
- Tracking and monitoring learner progress and providing extracurricular opportunities for learners
Skills & Knowledge
- Be empathetic
- Have a student first approach
- Be passionate for your subject
- Hold an Honours Degree in Maths or Physics or related subject
- Hold or be prepared to work towards a recognised teaching qualification
