We have a fantastic opportunity for a Learning and Development (L&D) Manager to join us and lead the delivery of high quality, progressive learning and development across the SRA.
You will lead the L&D team to plan, design, implement and evaluate fit for purpose, organisation wide learning interventions which are engaging, progressive, outcomes focussed and accessible to all. Being responsible for the L&D offering for the whole organisation, having a proactive and collaborative approach is essential. You will work with stakeholders across the organisation, including operational areas and HR colleagues to understand at a strategic level the anticipated challenges and business needs, and related L&D requirements.
You will support a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation, by promoting L&D offerings, driving engagement and completion, and assessing the effectiveness of L&D programmes/courses. You will optimise the use and functionality of available learning tools and explore emerging digital technologies and methodologies as required. To foster governance, you will define and implement a standardised approach to L&D across the organisation, including quality standards for content and delivery, consistent processes, evaluation approaches and associated QA arrangements.

What we are looking for:
- Proven experience of successfully managing a team of L&D professionals - including the ability to successfully motivate, coach and develop a team to meet required standards.
- Strong operational management skills including; planning and prioritising work and resources; keeping multiple tasks/projects on track; delivering results; and confident
- Demonstrable track record of clearly translating business needs into effective, integrated L&D solutions.
- Solid understanding of a wide range of L&D methodologies and techniques and the ability and enthusiasm to apply progressive and creative practises and approaches.
- Effective communicator who can build and maintain relationships at all levels.
- A customer centric approach with deep understanding of, and commitment to candidate engagement and learner experience
- Curiosity for emerging L&D trends and practices; interested in continuously developing knowledge - particularly in relation to digital.
Useful and additional information
- This is a full-time role working 35 hours per week.
- This is a hybrid role and the post-holder will work one to two days in the office with the rest of the week spent working at home.
