Your new role
As a Learning and Development Team Assistant/Coordinator is to provide team assistance to EKC based EMEA Learning and Development Team.
This will include the following but not limited to:
- Arrange and co-ordinate learning team activities, such as team meetings, team 1:1s and agendas and actions, training events etc.
- Preparation and printing of materials for training (and hospitality/visitors’ system at EKC) including workbooks and feedback documentation
- Organise travel for delegates including taxi and accommodation, providing clear travel plans
- Arrangement of all travel and hotel requirements for EKC team and hotel/taxi booking for EMEA team member based in France (when visiting EKC)
- Working with the Head of Department to organise CLT training for CLT chairs and the broader CLT team
- Diary/meeting management for People Head meetings, Leadership Steering and ED&I committee meetings
- Uploading new documents and re-versioning pre-existing documents in Connect2Learn, including uploading Medical documents and quizzes
- Logging attendance logs on Connect2Learn for L&D led training and training run across the business
- Managing new starter and leaver process on Connect2Learn and assigning of any relevant learning modules
- Monthly report collation and management
- Expenses processing/management
- Adding suppliers to the Ariba platform and creating a CRF requests
- Raising Purchase Orders for the L&D team
- Intranet admin for L&D group, ensuring information remains relevant and up to date
- Supporting activities/projects for the EMEA L&D Team as required
This is a 12 month salaried fixed term contract.
What are we looking for?
- Educated to A level standard – degree preferred in either Science or Business
- Excellent written and spoken business English.
- Experience of managing corporate training programmes – preferably in the Pharma industry
- Proven track record of delivering high quality training related work with tangible outcomes.
- Experience of implementing/managing/administering eLearning solutions
- Experience in developing and managing external training partner(s) and activities.
- Able to get on with others and be a team-player having the ability to work both within a team and independently.
- Ability to function in and influence key stakeholders in matrix organisation.
