We are seeking someone who can bring passion, innovation and enthusiasm to support the work we do. Its a full time (37.5 hours per week) permanent role that is home based with extensive and frequent travel in and around Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire as well as nationally.
You’ll help our colleagues to develop their skills to help people with a learning disability to live meaningful lives in their communities. Within The Role, You Will
- Travel to various locations to deliver our Mencap induction programme, that meets the requirements of the Care Certificate.
- Ensure our colleagues have the right skills, knowledge and confidence to deliver the best possible support, ensuring all policies, procedures, legislation and funder requirements are met at all times.
- Work collaboratively with high degree of autonomy whilst providing a first-class service
- Work with subject matter experts to design and deliver a range of high-quality learning interventions including workshops delivered virtually, resources, digital courses and face-to-face workshops.
- Think outside the box and put your design and creativity skills to the test
For this post you must have the ability and be willing to travel nationwide and be prepared to work flexibly with some overnight stays. This may also include working occasional evenings and weekends. You should be able to travel frequently in and around the Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire areas.
