We have an exciting opportunity that has arisen for
Learning & Development Specalist to join our HR Team here at Holman UK. You’ll need to either come into our new
Birmingham offices, near the
NEC or you’ll have to come into our Head Office in
Chippenham at least 3 days a week so please bear this in mind when applying. This is a
permanent opportunity and we are looking to pay between a range of
£50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience and a company vehicle.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Work in partnership with leadership to design and implement a learning strategy for the UK business, to include utilization of apprenticeship levy funds
- Facilitate classes and specialized training that support our core proficiencies in classroom as well as in virtual platforms; performs follow-up to evaluation learning application and impact
- Proactively organizes, manages, and executes logistics for various trainings. This includes marketing of programs, scheduling of courses, sending pre and post work messaging, and tracking completions/course attendance in Workday Learning
- Conduct training needs analysis. Gathers information about needs by collecting data about the learners and/or organizational performance requirements
- Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to design and develop learning solutions that align with business objectives while addressing the needs of diverse audiences
- Partner with the leadership team to ensure Holman UK are providing our employees with appropriate training regarding new technologies and industry developments, ensuring our service delivery is best in class and partner with appropriate training providers to facilitate
- Creates thorough design documents for virtual, self-paced and blended learning including measurable learning objectives, instructional activities, and other learning tools and resources. Identifies design systems and modalities to achieve desired outcomes.
- Develops instructional materials/assets including participant guides, instructor guides, presentations, skills assessments, and job aids.
- Promote value of Holman’s L&D function in order to shape the future of talent and learning in the UK business
- Maintain up to date personal CPD to ensure awareness and knowledge of industry developments
- Measures the effect of interventions on performance and the achievement of business goals.
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
We’re looking for candidates have 3-5 years experience in corporate learning capacity developing, delivering, analyzing, and measuring learning programs. Ideally you’ll have experience in designing, leading, implementing and evaluating highly engaging, innovative, blended learning interventions that deliver impactful change.
