Part of the AXA UK Learning and Development Centre of Excellence, as Professional Development Consultant you'll be responsible for providing learning consultancy, creation, delivery and co-ordination of learning programmes and frameworks and supporting the performance management of the Graduates and Internships proposition across AXA UK in partnership with key business stakeholders.
You'll support the definition, discovery, design, development, deployment and iteration of the AXA UK core and common colleague capability proposition, with a strong focus on Graduates and Internships. Ensuring it contributes to the delivery of strategic business outcomes and achieves the anticipated uplift in performance, return on investment and expectation.

What you'll be doing:
- Leverage knowledge and understanding of stakeholders needs and business areas to shape the delivery of the AXA UK core and common proposition, focusing on Graduates and Internships
- Support AXA UK Professional Development Strategy, drawing on information from HR colleagues, industry knowledge and best practice in early careers and professional development through graduate, internship and apprentice programmes
- Co-ordinate the planning and execution of learning programmes, including the logistics for onboarding and all associated activity for delivery of new programmes and cohorts
- Generate, organize and develop communication strategies to keep programme participants informed and engaged at all times including the development and delivery of networks and alumni
- Create governance and controls such as SOP's and regularly review these to ensure process is correct
- Provide support and advice to all colleagues studying for or working towards increasing capability through professional development, including safeguarding and resolution of barriers to their learning
- Report and provide visibility on engagement and usage, uplift in business performance, return on investment and expectation with key stakeholders
- Prioritise self-development and continuously and proactively seek out ways to remain current and credible, identifying and anticipating emerging learning and technological trends to innovate and improve learner engagement and effectiveness

What we’re looking for:
- Experienced Learning and Development professional with good understanding of Learning and Development operating models, processes, tools, methodologies, techniques and adult learning practices
- Holds or working towards CIPD Level 3 Diploma in Learning and Development
- Ability to understand, assimilate and analyse data and insights to identify root cause
- Strong relationship, stakeholder management, influencing and social engagement skills with the ability to build trusting and respectful partnerships
- Action oriented, delivery focused and excellent project management skills with proven experience in planning, managing, and implementing programmes of work
- Passion for delivering high quality work and continuous improvement
- Ability to prioritise workloads and deal with conflicting priorities
- Good ability to draw down on external trends, emerging technologies to innovate the learning and development offer
- Experience of operating in a matrixed organisation would be advantageous
