Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Learning & Development Business Partner to join our Human Resources Team.
This is an exciting opportunity for as the Learning & Development Business Partner holds a critical role in developing leadership capability in pursuit of CCL achieving our organisational objectives.
Based in the Human Resources function and reporting to the Head of Learning, Development and Engagement, the role works collaboratively to review, design, coordinate, deliver and evaluate all leadership development related initiatives.
You will be a core contributor to the full HR offering while situated in this Centre of Excellence. The central remit of the role is to ensure the linkage of learning and development strategies with the business needs via leadership learning and development solutions. The role’s activities are principally focused on leadership course design and delivery – eg- high potential programmes, leadership development programmes and similar.
In addition to design and delivery, the role encompasses supplier procurement and oversight, full administration of the leadership related L&D function, and ensuring statutory and mandatory training is coordinated and records are maintained and up to date.

What will your duties include?
Develop and maintain a business partnering approach in order to understand and act on leadership development needs across the organisation. The key stakeholders to partner with are the operational managers and department leads.
Align and partner with other HR centres of excellence to deliver a joined-up service to the business, notably the HR Business Partners
Support the emerging needs of the organisation that can be addressed through leadership development interventions. This will be done through a partnering approach: assessing and qualifying learning and performance issues, generating a brief, developing a solution, delivering a learning initiative and reviewing effectiveness.
Take full ownership of the review, design, delivery, administration and impact of the three tiers of structured leadership developmental programmes.
Align local UK leadership development programmes with the global L&D frameworks as set out by Global Leadership and Learning Institute (GLLI), Cleveland.
Support the development and establishment of a Talent Pathways framework and succession planning initiatives by ensuring that individuals have access to multi-modal, continuous development opportunities with the purpose of supporting succession planning.
Utilise the available assessment tools (Hogan) for ongoing individual leadership and team development.
Partners with the LMS Coordinator and Human Resources Analyst to develop a data-driven and evidence-based approach to learning interventions. To this purpose aligns with LMS Coordinator to ensure accurate training data and up to date reporting.
Supports the operational excellence of the L&D department by contributing to other core tasks, including ad-hoc support, as required, eg - LMS queries, New Caregiver Experience, Service Excellence and the deployment Apprenticeship strategy.
Support CCL’s engagement strategy with learning solutions that develop the necessary awareness and skills across the leadership segment of Cleveland Clinic London.
What we need from you?
Train the trainer or Learning Professional qualifications.
Hogan psychometrics qualified (desirable)
CIPD or similar Learning and Development / HR qualifications (desirable, not essential)
Demonstrable track record of working in a corporate L&D function at ‘Partner’ level or equivalent.
Track record of developing, delivering and overseeing L&D programmes across different levels of an organisation, eg – Leadership, High Performance programme, First-Line Management.
Evidence of collating and using data to drive training interventions and solutions.
A working knowledge of best and emerging learning development practice in the London market.
Demonstrable experience of managing projects and delivering successful outcomes.
Experience with working with various stakeholders across different levels of seniority.
