Learning & Development Associate

We are seeking an experienced learning professional to join our growing Talent Development team.
The Learning & Development Associate is responsible for the creation, implementation and improvement of all company-wide training and development programmes. They play a critical role in ensuring employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs successfully.
This role can be based in our Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Glasgow or Edinburgh office on a hybrid workstyle. There is the expectation that there will be travel to our other offices as required.
Role and Responsibilities
- Design and deliver non-technical training programmes across the company.
- Identify and assess current and future training needs through job analysis, career paths and consultation with the Talent Development Manager and key business stakeholders.
- Maintain a key understanding of learning trends, best practices and applications.
- Work with the early careers team to ensure the early careers development programmes are fit for purpose.
- Provide timely and accurate data and MI as and when required.
- Take ownership of employee onboarding to ensure new starts feel supported and engaged.
- Ensure all mandatory learning is managed, delivered and reported on through the Learning Management System (LMS).
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong, previous experience in a similar role in a corporate environment, ideally Financial Services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- CIPD qualification desirable but not essential.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS). Experience with Cornerstone desirable but not essential.
- Familiarity with traditional and modern learning methods and techniques.
