About the role:
As a Key Worker/Trainer you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with local referral sources in the North Yorkshire area to build your caseload of learners. You will be responsible for completing an initial assessment with each individual to identify their support requirements. You will develop their skills and knowledge by delivering engaging sessions on both soft skills and accredited qualifications based on their individual needs and providing personalised guidance to help them achieve their goals. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a passion for training and supporting those with multiple complex needs, adapting your training methods to meet the diverse needs of individuals.

Required criteria:
· Proven experience in delivering employability skills training or similar programs within a group environment where all individuals have different learning needs.
· Training qualification such as PTTLS, Education & Training or CAVA
· Sound knowledge of Awarding Body requirements and standards.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with participants from diverse backgrounds.
· Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate participant’s and adapt training strategies to meet individual needs, and change mindsets.
· Comfortable using instructional technology tools and resources to enhance language instruction and engage learners in digital learning environments.
· Ability to positively challenge others.
Desirable criteria:
· Experience creating engaging and interactive lesson plans that align with the individuals’ goals, incorporating a variety of teaching materials, resources, and activities.
· Previous work with diverse student populations
· Previous work with care experienced, multi needs individuals.
