Head of Department – Engineering/Electrical Salary: £49,536 per annum We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Department for Engineering/Electrical. Our ideal candidate will be a passionate leader committed to providing high-quality learning programmes, ensuring students make expected progress, and achieving the College’s Strategic Plan. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and ensure learners make expected progress in their programme. You will oversee all aspects of the department, create effective strategies, manage resources, build relationships with stakeholders, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will lead the growth of apprenticeship and adult programmes by developing and implementing strategies to increase enrolment, improve engagement, and enhance programme quality. You will work with managers and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement, establish new partnerships, and explore new growth opportunities. You will also track and analyse programme data, develop metrics to measure programme effectiveness and report progress to senior management.
