Job Vacancy: Head of Client Engagement, Home-Based
Location: The ideal candidate will reside in Midlands, Bucks, Beds, Herts, Essex, Oxfordshire Surrey, or London. Given the nature of the role, a driving license and access to a car is essential, as travel to see clients and team members, to the office, and for other meetings will be a regular part of your job.
Team Structure: The Head of Client Engagement will oversee and manage a small team of Senior Sales Consultants.
Salary: £45-£55k, depending on experience, plus commission.
Mission Statement
As Head of Client Engagement, your primary objective will be to meet or exceed agreed budgets by effectively leading and managing the Senior Client Engagement Consultants. Key performance indicators will include sales revenue, sales volumes, client retention, repeat business, and client satisfaction. An integral part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing the employer engagement strategy and will represent the division in both internal and external events.
Key Responsibilities
- Aid in the implementation of the employer engagement strategy
- Support the Operations & Quality Director to develop business plans
- Oversee financial performance using KPIs and specific targets
- Identify growth opportunities for Apprenticeships and Advanced Learner Loans
- Set achievable sales targets and manage account operations
- Support team members with the development of proposals, contracts, and cohort planning
- Ensure compliance with relevant funding rules and internal policies
- Deliver high-quality service to clients and learners
- Lead staff engagement initiatives and performance management efforts
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
Desired Skills and Experience
Essential qualifications and experience include:
- Experience in sales management roles within the apprenticeship and skills sector
- Proven track record of supporting strategic business plans and annual budgets
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Ability to win business via proposals and pitches
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Desirable qualifications and experience:
- A proven track record of successful bids and tenders
- Project management skills
- An IAG qualification and/ or a Level 5 qualification in leadership and management
