About the role
As a Development Programme Manager your main responsibility is to develop group wide strategies and blueprints for our early careers, apprenticeships, and diverse talent community programmes.
This also includes creating structured pathways, evaluating programme effectiveness, and staying updated on industry trends and best practices to make sure our programmes attract, develop, and retain the best diverse talent.

You will be responsible for
- Programme Design: Designing and developing structured early career programmes for the group such as internships, graduate programmes, apprenticeships, and Diverse Talent communities tailored to meet the talent and skills of the business.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Promoting diversity, equity and inclusion within all programmes, to ensure accessible opportunities for individuals from underrepresented groups.
- Stakeholder Engagement: collaborating with stakeholders across markets and functions to ensure strong alignment across all plans
- Partnerships: support with identifying and building strong relationships with external partners including educational institutions, universities, Charities to enhance our efforts to build diverse talent pipelines in the most inclusive way possible. Also collaborating with external partners e.g. Training providers to ensure they are delivering the right levels of service.
- Programme Evaluation: Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of development programmes, collecting feedback from colleagues and stakeholders, using data and metrics to assess impact and drive continuous improvement.
- Compliance and Regulations: Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing early career programmes, including equal employment opportunity (EEO) laws and apprenticeship regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and improve early careers and development programmes by staying updated on industry trends and best practices, and implementing changes to improve programme effectiveness, impact and relevance.
