Here in the Directorate of Business, Enterprise and Skills and Employability (BESE), we are recruiting for three Employer Partnerships Officers to lead on our successful work with employers in five Degree Apprenticeship standards including – Packaging, Creative Digital Design, Digital User Experience, Supply Chain, and Accounting and Finance.
This is an exciting time for us with new external funding providing great opportunities to grow and develop our already established Employer Partnerships Team where a wealth of knowledge and experience exists. The funding we have initially secured is until the end of July 2024, but with the potential for it to be extended further if funding is approved.
Your knowledge and experience of working with employers, undertaking strategic business development work and working to targets or account management will support the development and delivery of successful and sustainable key account management for the University.
As one of three new Employer Partnerships Officers you will be supported straight away with a team of established experts who will be able to get you up and running in the role. The roles are responsible for engaging both new and existing businesses.
You will be working as part of a team of employer engagement experts to ensure delivery of the project’s aims – to help boost applications across the aforementioned Degree Apprenticeship standards for the academic years 24/25 and 25/26.
These roles work in collaboration with teams across BESE, and alongside academic colleagues to support the strategic development of our existing employer partnerships and the development of apprenticeships, work placements, graduate opportunities, workforce development and continuous professional development (CPD) opportunities.
