Employability is an exciting and dynamic area of HRUC (Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge Colleges). In this varied role, you will develop Substantial Industry Placements (SIPs) and industry placements for learners, working with with employers, our external partners and curriculum teams. Your role will involve sourcing suitable placements, monitoring learners’ progress and evaluating outcomes. You will also deliver sessions to prepare students for placement. You will be motivated and enthusiastic with experience of meeting or exceeding targets, with the ability to engage and build effective relationships with employers. You will have experience of working with young people, and will have the ability to prepare and deliver effective workplace preparation sessions to students. You will also need to have excellent administrative, co-ordination and communication skills together with strong IT skills. You will be willing and able to travel to our other College campuses, off-site and overseas when required for networking events, industry conferences and job fairs.
