About the role:The Role We are seeking an innovative, highly organised, effective and ambitious Curriculum Manager, with excellent people skills and who puts students with SEND at the heart of everything they do and has the drive to achieve the highest quality of learner experience.Skills and Experience The successful candidate will have:A passion and vision for our SEND provision at our Bromley Campus.An innovative approach to their teaching, learning and assessment.High expectations of learners and staff.Excellent communication skills.High standards of performance management.The successful post holder will have an excellent understanding of The Children and Families Act and associated Code of Practice, and be able to report regularly on the performance position against KPIs of their area.The role is focused on managing and developing the curriculum and delivering high quality teaching, learning and assessment for our learners with SEND.The post holder will be responsible for the day to day operational management of the SEND programmes at our Bromley Campus. They will manage and facilitate with the team, the Annual Review process of Education, Health and Care plans and the IQA processes.The successful post holder will have recent evidence of outstanding observations and experience of delivering high quality teaching and learning to learners with a range of needs from complex to moderate.The post holder will work with the Assistant Principal High Needs and Foundation Learning, and use their knowledge and experience of SEND, to develop the curriculum offer, to include both employability programmes and a specialist provision for learners with severe to complex needs.The CollegeLondon South East Colleges is a successful and innovative College operating with sites across Bromley, Bexley, Orpington, Greenwich and Lambeth.
