We are recruiting an experienced Assessor to join our excellent Technology Department at The Roundhouse Campus. This is a fantastic opportunity to pass on your specialist knowledge and prepare our apprentices for the next phase of their lives. You will be joining an experienced, forward-thinking and vibrant department that has a clear focus on the apprentice learning experience and seeing them achieve great results.
About you
You’ll have industry experience within the electrical sector and a Level 3 NVQ qualification in Electrical Installation, as well as an Assessor qualification. We will also support you to obtain if you do not hold already the Internal Quality Assurers Qualification which will need to be completed in an agreed timeframe.
You will deliver high-quality training and assessment experience to our apprentices, adding your experience and skills to the team and using this to benefit and inspire the future workforce. Within this role you will build relationships with local employers and support apprentices in developing their on-site portfolio. You will also support apprentices to prepare for their end point assessment to achieve their apprenticeship standard.
