We are seeking a passionate and dedicated early years and foundation phase football coach to join our team at our academy in Wallington, Croydon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and a commitment to educating and developing players of all skill levels. This role involves not only teaching the fundamentals of football but also fostering teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among players.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement training programmes that enhance players' skills and understanding of football.Demonstrate a great deal of passion and enthusiasm in every sessionContribute to the development of the academys training philosophyAttend inhouse coaching workshops to collaborate and align on training and operational methodsBe able to encourage and inspire players to be creativeCreate a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation and personal growth.Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other stakeholders regarding progress and expectations.Skills
Experience in sports coaching, particularly in football, with the ability to educate players effectively prefered but non essentialShow a willingness to learn and improve as a football coachExcellent communication skills to convey strategies and feedback clearly.Ability to motivate and inspire playersStrong organisational skills to manage training schedules, and player assessments.A good understanding of football rules, tactics, and techniques.Join us in shaping the future of our athletes through dedicated coaching and mentorship!
