Responsibilities

Devise a range of teaching and assessment materials covering several modules and subject areas within the Design and Performing Industries portfolio.
Deliver teaching in a variety of learning environments and use a variety of teaching styles and approaches, including all levels of undergraduate and, where appropriate, postgraduate study.
Provide academic and pastoral feedback and support to students to the highest professional standards and to enhance the student experience.
Undertake planning, scholarship, research, training or project work, individually or within a team, to ensure ongoing professional development and to raise the profile of the Academic Discipline, Institute and University.
Contribute to day to day activities of the Academic Discipline, including dissertation supervision, student recruitment, marketing activities, research seminars and workshops, staff training and professional development.
Develop administrative activities and contribute to day to day activities of the Campus.

Additional Information

Annual leave entitlement is 35 days, plus 8 bank holidays and 4 University closure days pro rata.
