Team Leader in Construction Apprenticeships (Plumbing and Heating)

Deliver high-quality teaching, assessment and support across Gas, Plumbing and Heating apprenticeship programmes, ensuring consistently strong learner outcomes
Support quality assurance activities, including IQA processes, standardisation and compliance with awarding body and regulatory requirements
Work closely with the Learning Area Manager to monitor learner progress, ensuring timely achievement and accurate tracking of performance
Contribute to curriculum development across Plumbing, Domestic Heating, Gas and Renewables, embedding continuous improvement
Support and guide colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching, learning and assessment across the provision
Engage with employers to ensure training meets industry needs and supports positive apprentice experiences and outcomes

Relevant industry qualifications in Gas, Plumbing and Heating, with up-to-date sector knowledge and experience
Experience of delivering or assessing apprenticeships, with a strong understanding of IQA practices and quality assurance processes
Ability to support team development and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to track learner progress and maintain accurate records
A recognised teaching and/or assessing qualification (e.g. PGCE, AET, CAVA, TAQA) or willingness to work towards
Passion for developing apprentices and supporting high-quality training aligned to industry standards
