The Role
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and achievement
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons to meet the needs of all learners
- Support pupils in developing confidence, resilience, and independence
- Monitor progress and use assessment effectively to drive pupil attainment
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and classroom standards
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support pupil success
- Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school community
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 in a UK primary school setting
- Good understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching practices
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential
- Adaptable, positive, and committed to delivering high quality education
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- ECTs are welcome to apply and will be fully supported within the role
