Job Summary
Lordsgate Township CE Primary School seeks a skilled Teaching Assistant (Level 2b). The successful candidate will support children with additional needs in a primary school classroom, working closely with the teaching team to foster social and emotional learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils with additional needs across subject areas.
- Assist in implementing behaviour support and child centred approaches.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and parents to monitor pupils' progress.
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings and professional development sessions.

Essential Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 in a relevant child care qualification.
- GCSE or equivalent in English and Mathematics.
Essential Experience
- Experience working with or caring for children in a primary school setting.
Desirable Experience
- Experience supporting children with special educational needs.
- Experience delivering SEN support programmes, including speech, language and communication issues.
- Experience supporting children with social and emotional needs.
