Civil Engineering Degree Apprenticeship

About the role
You will earn a salary while completing a degree at Warwick University. You will create an impact in the green transition and become a civil engineer.
Responsibilities
* With the support of your project manager, plan and prioritise your workload
* Contribute to solving technical problems with your team
* Carry out engineering designs and assessments
* Prepare design reports and drawings
* Collaborate with Engineers across many disciplines
* Be responsible for delivering your own work to a high standard
* Attend site visits and client meetings as required
Qualifications
* A commitment to complete a five‑year degree while working
* A Levels, AAA grades, to include Mathematics and a Physical Science. Applicants without A level Mathematics may be subject to passing a Maths assessment
* BTEC Diploma grade D*D*, with an A grade A level Mathematics, or subject to passing a Maths assessment
* BTEC Extended Diploma grade DDD, including two Mathematics units, 'Calculus to Solve Engineering Problems' and 'Further Engineering Mathematics', or subject to passing a Maths assessment
Education & Certification
If accepted, you will pursue a BEng (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering with the University of Warwick, attending in‑person classes on campus including lectures and seminars on structural and geotechnical engineering. You will also engage in office‑based learning and work towards gaining Incorporated Engineer status with the Institution of Civil Engineers. The company will pay for your qualification and appoint a mentor to coach your development.
Compensation and Working Hours
Annual wage. Working week: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, and you will be paid for the normal working hours and training that is part of the apprenticeship.
Duration and Commencement
Expected duration: 5 years.
You must be available to commence employment in September 2026 to be considered for this role.
