Axcis Education is recruiting a passionate and motivated Secondary Science Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Weymouth. This full time temporary role starts ASAP, with potential to become long term for the right candidate. The school seeks an enthusiastic teacher who can inspire students across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and interactive Science lessons that encourage curiosity, confidence and achievement. Whether your specialism is Biology, Chemistry or Physics, we look for someone who brings energy and creativity into the classroom.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high quality lessons.
- Monitor student progress and prepare pupils for exams.
- Create a positive learning environment where all students feel supported to succeed.
- Manage the classroom and build strong relationships with students and staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Experience teaching or suitable training for KS3/KS4 Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
- Knowledge of the curriculum and good assessment practice.
