St Mary's CE Middle School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of KS3 Science to join our wonderful team of staff.
The successful candidate will be able to adapt and deliver our science curriculum to pupils across KS3, demonstrating an in depth knowledge across all learning areas.

A start date of 1st September is desirable wherever possible, but flexibility will be considered for the right candidate.
About the role:
The purpose of the role is to:
- Plan, develop and deliver high quality science lessons using a variety of approaches to enhance teaching and learning.
- The salary offered will be at main scale 1 to 6, depending on experience (negotiable).
- There will be the opportunity to develop subject leadership experience for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will:
- Have the ability to teach science across KS3.
- Be an excellent teacher who is able to deliver a high standard of education to all pupils.
- Be an innovative thinker and have the passion to engender excitement about the curriculum.
- Have a good understanding of inclusive teaching and learning strategies to facilitate learning of all pupils, especially those with SEND.
- Have excellent classroom management strategies.
- Have the ability to inspire and motivate learners.
- Be able to work as part of a team.
- Meet teaching standards.
