Job Summary
Axcis Education is recruiting for a full time Secondary Maths Teacher (QTS) to work at a mainstream secondary school in Weymouth on a temporary basis starting ASAP. The role involves planning and delivering Maths lessons, marking work, assessing progress, and supporting pupils to build confidence in the subject. The school seeks a confident, engaging teacher who can deliver high quality lessons across KS3, support students of varying abilities and maintain a focused, inclusive learning environment.
Working Hours & Pay
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm. Pay is in line with the teacher pay scale depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3.
- Plan and assess pupils' progress.
- Manage classroom behaviour and motivate learners.
- Support students in building confidence in Maths.
- Attend supportive leadership and departmental meetings.

Requirements
- Qualified teacher with QTS.
- Ability to plan and deliver Maths lessons across KS3.
- Strong behaviour management and motivational skills.
- Up to date DBS or willingness to have DBS processed by Axcis.
