Burlais Primary School: Temporary Teaching Assistant Level 4
(closing date: 01/06/26 at Midday) Required for September 2026. Full Time (27 hours per week). Temporary until 31 March 2027 in the first instance. Current salary: £28,142 (pro-rata, FTE). The salary stated will be subject to a term time only adjustment for the commencement of employment outside of the start date of 1 September.
A full Time Teaching Assistant Level 4 (27 hours per week) to work alongside our ALNCO and other support staff in providing high quality support in our 'Hive' Enhanced Inclusion Provision. This will be a temporary appointment until the 31 of March 2027 in the first instance. Current salary: £28,142 (pro-rata, FTE). The successful candidate will complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. This may involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups or short term for whole classes and monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupils' achievement, progress and development.

- An excellent understanding and experience of supporting pupils with ALN
- Sensitivity, empathy and an understanding of the community we work in
- The relevant qualifications and experience in a school setting
- Excellent Literacy, Numeracy and IT skills
- A proven track record of excellence
- A commitment to developing links with the community and an empathy with the aims and vision of the school
