Humanities/PHSE Teacher
We're looking for an experienced SEMH teacher to inspire and support Key Stage 3 students. This role provides engaging and adapted lessons in a collaborative team environment, helping learners build confidence, independence, and progress.
The position starts after the May half term and continues until the end of the academic year, with a possibility of a permanent appointment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, adapted lessons for students with SEMH.
- Support learners in building confidence, independence, and meaningful progress.
- Collaborate with school staff to design and implement individualized support plans.
- Adjust teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience working with students with SEMH.
- Brings empathy, resilience, and a positive approach.
- Confidence in adapting teaching to support diverse learning needs.
- Values teamwork and open communication.
Teaching roles require Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
An enhanced DBS check is required, along with copies of original qualifications.
