Primary SEMH Teacher
The Education Specialists are currently recruiting for a Primary Teacher with experience supporting children with Social Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH).
This is a rewarding opportunity to join a nurturing primary setting, working with small groups of children with Social Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH) alongside a caring, collaborative team.
The Primary Teacher position is to start after May half term until the end of the academic year initially, with the opportunity to continue in September and secure a permanent position directly with the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons meeting every child's needs, adapting learning, building strong relationships, and supporting every child's progress.
- Work closely and collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals.
- Monitor and track student progress, celebrating every achievement.
- Create a safe, positive, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
We are looking for someone who
- Has experience working with SEND students (or a strong interest in this area).
- Has a warm and positive approach, and confidence in meeting diverse needs.
- Works collaboratively as a team.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Is dedicated to supporting each child and enriching their learning experience.

Teaching roles require Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, and an enhanced DBS check will be required as part of the registration process.
