About the role
We're a small village school with a big heart - nestled in the beautiful countryside of Brede, East Sussex. Everyone here knows your name and we work together as a close-knit community to give every child the best start in life.
We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher to join our team, initially based in EYFS/KS1. The role is suitable for ECTs and more experienced teachers who share our school ethos and values.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
In this role you will be expected to:
- Teach in EYFS and KS1.
- Demonstrate hardworking, conscientious teamwork, enthusiasm, resilience and a good sense of humour.
- Show excellent subject knowledge and a clear understanding of the curriculum.
- Use a creative, reflective approach that motivates, challenges and supports every child.
- Adapt learning plans to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs.
- Provide a nurturing, emotionally intelligent approach to children's social and emotional wellbeing.
- Build strong relationships with children, colleagues and families.
