KS1 Teacher - ECTs Accepted
Location: L4 Area, Liverpool
Start Date: Mid May
Contract: 6-8 weeks (operation leave cover, potential to extend)
Hours: Full time, Monday-Friday (8:30am-3:30pm)
Role Overview
Milk Education is recruiting a dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming, two form entry primary school in the L4 area of Liverpool. This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain valuable classroom experience within a supportive school environment.
You will take responsibility for a KS1 class, delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
Classroom & School Support
- Two form entry primary school
- Experienced Classroom Teaching Assistant in place
- Additional SEN Teaching Assistant support
- Collaborative and inclusive school environment
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEN
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well structured classroom environment
- Monitor pupil progress and contribute to assessment and reporting
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, SENCO, and senior leadership
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - ECTs welcome to apply
- Experience teaching within KS1
- SEN experience is desirable but not essential
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for supporting children to reach their full potential
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
