Role OverviewThis is a fixed‑term 24‑month contract role for an Information and Systems Trainer supporting the Care Track Project. The role involves introducing new digital systems and updating workflows to create a live digital bed management information environment for all teams, enabling automated discharge and transfer processes, streamlining requests, and improving bed availability and patient flow.Key Responsibilities Deliver training courses and programmes in collaboration with the Systems Implementation Manager, ensuring Trust staff acquire necessary IT and system skills.Identify training needs and design solutions covering basic IT skills, hospital‑based information systems, data quality, and the Data Protection Act.Develop and deliver education programmes, including e‑Learning and technology‑based methods, to meet identified training requirements.Work closely with the Systems Implementation Manager and Trust Training and Development leads to develop credible and supportive training services.Assist in the management and supervision of training activities and the Trust’s IM&T training facilities.Participate in the production of training strategies to ensure training needs are met.Travel to Trust sites and local community sites as required to provide on‑site training support.Training and Development ContextTraining will build upon an existing IT training base and focus on evolving system capabilities, data quality, and information governance.
