Edura is seeking a highly experienced freelance trainer to deliver an executive-level course titled Oil Water Treatment Technology in London. This program is designed to provide industry professionals with the technical mastery required to manage environmental impact and operational efficiency in oil and gas production.
Course Overview:
The Oil Water Treatment Technology course provides a comprehensive deep-dive into the principles of oil-water separation, advanced filtration, and regulatory compliance. The program supports organizations in improving discharge water quality, reducing environmental footprints, and ensuring adherence to international standards. The course combines technical frameworks, chemical treatment methodologies, and real-world case studies to enhance professional decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver the Oil Water Treatment Technology course in line with the approved curriculum and learning objectives.Prepare and Customize all training materials, including technical presentations, case studies on treatment failure/success, and practical exercises.Coordinate all course-related activities with Edura before and during the programme.Facilitate high-level technical discussions on gravity separation, membrane technologies, and advanced oxidation processes.Ensure high-quality course delivery that meets executive training standards for engineers and plant managers.Maintain effective session flow, time management, and participant engagement throughout the programme.
Course Coverage Requirements:
The trainer must be able to confidently deliver all course units, including:
Principles of Separation: Physical/chemical properties and mechanisms of oil-water mixtures.Treatment Technologies: Gravity separation, flotation, filtration, and membrane tech.System Design: Designing and optimizing treatment systems for various scales.Compliance: Navigating environmental standards, monitoring, and reporting requirements.Sustainability: Implementing green technologies and analyzing future industry trends.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in oil and gas engineering, water treatment, environmental management, or refinery operations.Proven experience delivering technical training programs specifically related to oil-water separation or industrial water treatment.Strong knowledge of chemical demulsification, membrane filtration systems, and performance evaluation tools.Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex mechanical processes to diverse technical audiences.Experience delivering executive-level or corporate training programmes.
Preferred Profile:
Background in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or consulting firms.Practical experience managing water treatment audits and risk mitigation.Availability to be physically present in London during the course dates.
