An opportunity has arisen to recruit an experienced enthusiastic Commercial Tutor & IQA to mentor, coach and assess students undertaking commercial courses at Chesterfield College and support the team with Internal Quality Assurance processes for our Apprenticeship provision.
The successful candidate will be required to plan, prepare and deliver commercial courses to upskill candidates within the Electrical Installation Industry to meet our employer’s needs. They will also liaise with the Curriculum Manager on ensuring all internal quality assurance and verification processes are carried out to the required Awarding Bodies standards.
Applicants must be occupationally competent electricians and be able to deliver a range of courses, including L3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations, EV Charging and 18th Edition Wiring Regs. Other electrical qualifications utilised within the industry would be advantageous.
They must hold the Assessors D32/D33, A1 Award, or TAQA Award and the Internal Verification D34, V1 or TAQA 401 Award.
Training/Teaching/Basic Skills qualifications would be an advantage, although not essential.
Good administration, interpersonal and IT skills with a professional outlook are essential. Flexibility to work additional hours when required and undertake substantial travel is also essential.
