As the Apprentice Program Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of JD’s apprenticeship program within the UK logistics division. You will work closely with UK-based HR Business Partners, university partners, and logistics operations leaders to ensure the program aligns with both business needs and academic standards.
Program Strategy & Planning
- Ensure compliance with UK apprenticeship standards, funding rules, and regulatory requirements.
Talent Attraction & Recruitment
- Manage the entire selection process: screening, assessment, interviews, and offer management.
- Build and maintain relationships with universities, colleges, and training providers across the UK.
- Partner with academic institutions to align curriculum with JD’s operational needs and company values.
Program Management & Evaluation
- Track apprentice performance, retention, and completion rates against KPIs.
- Facilitate regular reviews between JD Logistics leadership and academic partners.
- Promote the apprenticeship program internally and externally to enhance JD’s employer brand in the UK.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Proven experience in apprenticeship program management, talent acquisition, or graduate recruitment within the UK.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working with academic institutions.
- Professional certification in HR or apprenticeship management (e.g., CIPD, AAT).
