Job Title: Apprentice program manager (JD Logistics)

As the Apprentice Program Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of JD’s apprenticeship program within the UK logistics division. You will work closely with UK-based HR Business Partners, university partners, and logistics operations leaders to ensure the program aligns with both business needs and academic standards.

Program Strategy & Planning

Ensure compliance with UK apprenticeship standards, funding rules, and regulatory requirements.

Talent Attraction & Recruitment

Manage the entire selection process: screening, assessment, interviews, and offer management.
Build and maintain relationships with universities, colleges, and training providers across the UK.
Partner with academic institutions to align curriculum with JD’s operational needs and company values.

Program Management & Evaluation

Track apprentice performance, retention, and completion rates against KPIs.
Facilitate regular reviews between JD Logistics leadership and academic partners.
Promote the apprenticeship program internally and externally to enhance JD’s employer brand in the UK.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Proven experience in apprenticeship program management, talent acquisition, or graduate recruitment within the UK.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working with academic institutions.
Professional certification in HR or apprenticeship management (e.g., CIPD, AAT).
