Role Description
The Lead Centre Coach will be responsible for planning and delivering football training sessions that align with the company’s development objectives. Day-to-day tasks include designing engaging and age-appropriate drills, supervising players during sessions, and providing individual feedback to enhance their skills and confidence. The role involves managing a team of assistant coaches and liaising with parents or guardians regarding player progress. This is a part-time, on-site position based in Salford.
The successful applicant will be responsible for leading all of our sessions in Salford. Currently must be available Monday evenings.
Qualifications
Strong football coaching experience, with a proven ability to plan and execute effective training sessions tailored to player needs.Leadership skills, including the ability to manage and mentor assistant coaches effectively.Clear and professional verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with players, parents, and team members in a positive and supportive manner.Knowledge of health, safety, and safeguarding practices within a coaching environment.FA coaching qualifications (Level 1 or above); additional coaching certifications are an advantage.First Aid and safeguarding certification are preferred.A passion for football and the ability to inspire young players at different skill levels to achieve their full potential.
