Part time, 4 days a week, days to be confirmed, salary for part time will be £28,552 - £36,140.

In this rewarding role, you will work closely with employers, learners and colleagues to deliver high-quality training and assessment from Level 2 to Level 5. You will provide expert guidance, inspire confidence, and ensure every apprentice is supported through to successful completion of their qualification.
About the Role
As a Trainer/Assessor, you will deliver engaging learning experiences in the workplace, online and within college settings. You’ll monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, complete assessment and verification tasks, and maintain high standards of quality and compliance. Working collaboratively with employers, you will tailor training to meet industry needs and ensure apprentices gain the practical skills required for their roles.
Essential Criteria
(Up to 5 points, as requested)
A higher qualification in Education, childcare or a related discipline.
Teaching/training experience and a relevant teaching or training qualification.
An Assessor qualification (e.g., A1, TAQA).
GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above.
Strong knowledge and experience within the Early Years sector.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality training, assessment and progress reviews for apprentices across Levels 2–5.
Work collaboratively with employers to ensure training reflects workplace needs and sector standards.
Provide guidance, support and feedback to learners to enable timely achievement and progression.
Complete assessment, verification and quality assurance processes in line with awarding body requirements.
Maintain accurate and timely records relating to learner progress, compliance and funding requirements.
Contribute to curriculum development, standardisation and continuous quality improvement activities.
Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain sector knowledge and teaching expertise.
