Do you like to explore possibilities?, You'll be working with individuals to complete adult social care assessments, care and support plans, mental capacity assessments and carrying out carers conversations as well as other team tasks and responsibilities.. You will work as part of an MDT with both health and social care colleagues., Our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy, along with our employee network 'IDEAL' and self-organised peer support groups help us to foster an inclusive, supportive and safe working environment where people feel valued, respected, and empowered. We collect relevant diversity data for monitoring as part of the recruitment process to understand the diversity of our applicants and monitor any trends throughout the recruitment processes so that we can take meaningful action.

You won't need to have a social work qualification but knowledge, experience and understanding of the needs of vulnerable adults will be essential to succeed in the role. Working knowledge and experience of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and Cambridgeshire County Council's Adult Social Care policies and procedures will also be an advantage. Good planning and organisation skills will be key. You will need to have good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with adults with a variety of needs and communication styles. Inquisitive and creative practice is embraced, to allow for personalised solutions, taking into account wider community resources and organisations.
