What You’ll Be Doing
As a Lecturer - Multi-skills, you will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons to learners, supporting them to develop practical literacy skills for work, further study and everyday life.
You Will
• Develop engaging schemes of work tailored to learners with diverse starting points
• Use learner-centred teaching and assessment strategies to drive progress and achievement
• Provide clear, constructive feedback that builds confidence and promotes independence
• Monitor and track attendance, progress and achievement, implementing timely interventions where required
• Support learners with varying barriers to education, creating an inclusive and motivating classroom environment
• Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring provision remains relevant to employment and progression pathways
• Engage in continuous professional development to maintain up-to-date knowledge industry standards/ requirements
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a passionate and committed Multi-Skills specialist who understands the transformational impact of trade and construction education.
You Should Have
• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent)
In Addition, You Will Demonstrate
• Experience teaching Multi-skills within Further Education.
• Strong understanding of Multi-skills trade principles and inclusive teaching strategies
• The ability to differentiate effectively for mixed-ability groups
• Experience tracking and monitoring learner progress using digital systems
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and learner wellbeing
