About the RoleAs an Employment Advisor, you will hold a caseload of customers seeking employment. Your role involves seeking potential employment opportunities for customers by working closely with the individual, employers, prime contractors, and statutory bodies. From initial meetings, you will review applicants' abilities, needs, and wishes regarding employment and respond accordingly, linking customers to employment, training, and development opportunities.Identifying specific needs and risks, you will create and maintain risk assessments with the individual to ensure safety in the workplace.
Your responsibilities also include creating and maintaining records and processes in line with organisational and contract requirements, using both online databases and hard copy record systems. You will deliver job-related outcomes in line with individual and team performance targets and provide guidance to Employment Support Workers in the delivery of their duties. Whether you have experience working with people with disabilities or possess valuable transferable skills, we want to hear from you.
